On Christmas Hill A Seasonal Affair Affair Series Book 2 eBook Faith Mortimer

On Christmas Hill A Seasonal Affair Affair Series Book 2 eBook Faith Mortimer
On Christmas Hill (A Seasonal Affair) by Faith Mortimer is just the story to warm you heart and soul. A classic love story past and present woven into one. I fell in love with Catherine, Jack, Estelle, Steve and Charlotte equally and for different reasons. The author is gifted in connecting each character with the audience. So descriptive in each you feel as if you know them personally. Jack had my heart from the moment Mortimer hinted he was Father Christmas and little Charlotte captured his heart when she asked for Santa to bring her a daddy for Christmas, so her mother didn't have to work so hard. Broke my heart because I can relate. The ending is one that reminds me of just how fabulous life can be and sometimes there really is a happily ever after for everyone. Faith Mortimer writes magically. On Christmas Hill is more than a story, it's a life lesson that will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Bravo Mortimer. My thoughts are you need to read this little piece of magic and let your imagination wander. Then you should let Mortimer know what you gained from her writing. Thank-you!

On Christmas Hill A Seasonal Affair Affair Series Book 2 eBook Faith Mortimer Reviews
Another fun read by one of my favorite authors. I loved the characters and enjoyed following their journey to finding love. A good read to put you in the Christmas spirit.
I was looking for a Christmas love story and this one fitted the bill. I found the characters indenting and found it hard to put it down. It was a lovely tale
This was a pleasant read, but nothing out of the ordinary. The lead female wasn't that easy to like and the male lead was weak. Also, it takes place in England and I have a hard time believing that housing available to someone in her situation would be so limited. I don't want to mention anything else so I give anything away. I might read this author's work again, though I'm not sure, but I would take look at it before making up my mind.
This was a sweet, romantic Christmas story. It was a well- written and well-edited book, although the wording and spelling were obviously from England. The characters were likeable and interesting and well developed. The scenes and sights were easy to visualize, without getting too overly descriptive. It was different, at first, to read the story from both Catherine and Jack's views, but I felt the author did a great job of switching back and forth without losing the reader. All in all, it was a fun story to read. I will look for more of this author's books in the future. Great job, Faith Mortimer. I enjoyed it!
I have finally read Faith Mortimer's book On Christmas Hill. I love romantic Christmas Stories and found this one to be one of my favorites. I enjoyed it from the first page to the end. The character's were likeable and interesting. I will certainly read more of her books.
Is Christmas Hill a real place? I suspect it is. The English settings and the walk through Christmas traditions shared and to be discovered made this book an almost ideal read. Why only 3 stars? Attraction resembling too near lust is not the path to true love, IMO.
Ms. Morimer's boy-meets-girl story is a lovely bit of holiday romance and reverie. Sometimes it takes kindness to rebuild trust when a woman has been betrayed, and a vision of beauty and family can bring a busy business man back to the heart of the season. Even though undeniably attracted, the secrets they hide will have to be revealed before love finds its way On Christmas Hill
Faith has once again exhibited her versatility as an author. In "On Christmas Hill. (A Seasonal Affair)Faith captured me with the title. "Hmm, an affair during Christmas," were my first thoughts. Was not that type of an affair, even better. Romantic! Emotional! Faith expounds upon the determined life of Catherine, a female postal employee who happens upon a "lost" love letter. Catherine, not your atypical postal person, is determined the letter finally reach its intended destination and a whole new world opens for Catherine. She has been "used, abused, and dumped," unlucky in love. A hearty, uplifting book. Faith has that talent to draw you into her characters. As a reader you find yourself feeling their pains, their heartaches, but also, moved by their good fortune. You will be captured by all these emotions and more with this descriptive, heartfelt book. She skillfully brings a new love into Catherine's life, but not without the insecurity, the baggage of distrust, which we as humans involved in life, carry from one "love" to another.
